So you are new here! That’s great, so am I. Let me introduce myself, why I decided to start this blog, and what exactly it is. My name is Asia Meriwether. I'm recent college grad, avid sleeper and baker, and life-long follower of Jesus Christ; well, since I was five. During the last few weeks of college, I heard the voice of God. This is a big deal for me and I will tell you why another time. After that, He kept talking. Talking about a blog, talking about salt, and talking about light. Since this is a new thing for me, it took a minute to put all that together into what you see now. What exactly will the blog be? Well, it’s not exactly based off of Matthew 5:13-16; it's not really about being the salt of the earth or the light of the world. Other than the name, it really has nothing to do with that verse. This is a type of ministry for me. I am going to deliver two things with each post; salt and light. The salt will be a story, more than likely personal, that may or may not have some saltiness in my delivery. Eh, get it? Saltiness?! Salt?! …the stories will be better than that joke, I swear. The light will be scriptural and/or spiritual revelation that came to me, usually much later down the road. I hope that sharing these stories and what I learned from them will be helpful to you, or at least provide you with some entertainment.
